One of the great aspects of a pullstring pinata is that kids of all ages can have fun without the fear of being injured with a stick.  All kids have to do is pull together on several strings and the pinata will open with a tuck.  If you don't have enough pull strings to match the number of kids, just add a few extra mock strings before the party starts so all kids will have something to hold on to and not feel left out.
